To set up your first WHMSonic account in your new WHMSonic Reseller Package, you'll need to follow these steps in order.

1. Login to your cPanel account. You'll find the button to access your cPanel on your clients area home page.

2. Near the bottom of your cPanel, as long as you have reseller access enabled, you'll see the "WHM Web Host Manager" icon.

3. Once inside WHM, in the menu on the left, click "Add a Package"

4. On the "Add a Package" page, in the first field titled "New Package Name", choose a template name (no spaces).

For example, let's create a sample package and name it "basic". Enter the quota amount, such as 1000 MEG. You can set the allowed bandwidth per month at any value you like, such as 10000 MEG, you could also enter "unlimited" in this or any of the fields.

The reason packages are required is for clients that wish to connect their automation software, or client management system to automatically create accounts.

The cPanel theme is very important. If you leave it at the default theme, x3 - this will allow your clients to have access to both cPanel and WHMSonic. If you choose the sonic theme, this will only allow your client access to WHMSonic. Please note, if you do not allow your clients access to cPanel, they will not be able to upload their mp3's via the built in cPanel Legacy File Manager, they can only upload via FTP.

5. Once you have created at least one package, in the menu on the left, click on the "Create a New Account"

6. On the "Create a New Account Page", complete the form.

All of the fields near the bottom of the form can stay their default values.

You'll need to goto the domain register of the domain you have just created and point the DNS to the nameserver addresses provided when the site has been created.
