Talk Live

The built in Microphone system (Talk Live) is used for multiple services. It's main purpose is to send voice overs to your listeners live while auto dj (or any stream) is active. 

Talk Live with Talk Over Player - This works with no set up required and makes use of our unique Talk Over Players which are included in the SHOUTcast Widgets website builder and all themes. You can also embed the Talk Over player into your personal website, Wordpress or most any website builder, in your SHOUTcast Widgets ADMIN panel click on Widgets > HTML5 Multi-Player Copy/Paste Code, then click on the Talk Over player tab to copy code.

1. To begin a session, simply click on the Talk Live - Microphone button on your SHOUTcast Widgets ADMIN Dashboard. If this is just for the Talk Live player you can just use a random title and start (Track introduction is for Centova only).
2. Click on the Talk button when your ready to begin, keep your voice over less then 20-30 seconds max and click the Stop button when complete. Depending on how long the voice over is, it can take several seconds for the track to process.
3. You can send the voice over to the talk over players or change voice/pitch.
4. If you would like to change the pitch of the voice over, click on the change voice button.
5. Drag the slider left for a more male voice and right for female. (You can also pre-set each DJ voice in the DJ Manger).
6. After you click start you can further adjust the pitch while conversion is taking place. Allow the utility to complete and automatically redirect back to the filan page (see red info box at bottom of pitch change utility for status details).
7. When the utility is complete you will see the option to send the converted voice over to the talk over player.  

Each listener is logged and each is sent the voice over. Player must be Talk Over enabled to work!

  

Talk Live with Centova Cast - Allows you to quickly record a voice over and play between tracks using the Centova API and playlist system. You must have your Centova Cast v3 linked with SHOUTcast Widgets to take advantage of this feature. As long as you have your SCWIDGETS playlist set up correctly in your Centova panel and your files are synced you will also have the option to introduce a track.

1. To begin a session, simply click on the Talk Live - Microphone button on your SHOUTcast Widgets ADMIN Dashboard. Voice Over title will be displayed in players and the SHOUTcast DNAS currently playling/last played. The artist will be listed as your company title (General Settings > Company Title). You can also choose a track to introduce if you like. If you don't see any tracks in the drop down, you may need to Re-Sync your media top right of SHOUTcast Widgets panel.

Record Voice Over and Save - You can also choose to save a voice over which will place the file in the Voice Over drop down box on your SHOUTcast Widgets ADMIn Dashboard
