Due to the new regulations Google Chrome and Firefox recently put out regarding unsecure streams on secure pages, to allow the players on your non-SSL SHOUTcast or Icecast stream to work we set the panel, website builder and and other widgets that use a player to stream your station to always use the HTTP protocol.
If your stream is secure and starts with HTTPS, then the panel, website builder and all widgets will default to HTTPS. You can toggle SSL under Server Settings. If you attempt to set SHOUTcast Widgets to HTTPS and your stream is not secure, there will be errors. The same goes for trying to set a secure stream to HTTP, the SSL setting in SHOUTcast WIdgets must match what your server actually is.
