You'll need either a web editing program such as Dreamweaver, Frontpage, GoLive, or a ftp program. All main site files will go into the public_html folder, which is already present within your hosting space. Your website must have a index file, such as index.html, or index.php. If it doesn't, when a user visits your site, they will view a folder tree. The index.html file within the public_html folder is also called your homepage.
