How can my DJs earn money?
SHOUTcast Widgets v7 has some exciting new features that allow any DJ in your network to earn income by offering paid (or free) booking to other SHOUTcast Widgets members.
Guest DJ Plugin is required to be set for primary stream!
- DJ creates time slot(s) to offer his/her services. Time slots can last for as little as 15 minutes to several days long, however a typical amount of time would be 1-2 hours. DJs and admins can also set the cost of each time slot, as well as to automatically recur daily or weekly.
- Stream owners can browse all available time slots on the DJs custom page and calendar. If the stream owner orders a slot, the funds are sent directly to either the DJ's Paypal email or yours (depending on DJ profile settings). CashApp is also an option however only Paypal can offer instant payment notifications (IPN) at time time. The IPN triggers the system when a payment is made and will automatically set the booking to scheduled and deactivate the time slot to prevent over booking.
- Once the scheduled time has arrived, the DJ will be able to view event details including current listener locations for shoutouts. The stream owner has the option to provide instructions in the order process, or may communicate with the dj via email or social media if they prefer.
- After the live event has ended, the stream owner may leave a 1-5 start review on the DJs profile page if they like.
How can I book a DJ to play on my stream?
Any SHOUTcast Widgets network owner can book any DJ on the entire platform (as long as the network owner has granted privileges to the DJ). The stream owner just needs to be logged into his/her main account to be able to book. It's also required that the stream owner has the Guest DJ plugin setup on the primary stream as mentioned above.
