The Backtrack Player is a HTML5 multi-network and fully responsive browser based player which allows listeners to restart the current track that's playing on your SHOUTcast Stream by making use of online cloud mp3 storage. Listeners are also offered that last played tracks to play instantly and on demand. When the on demand track is finished, the player will automatically return the the live stream. The Backtrack Player also works without the on demand option and as a standard HTML5 player. Users can choose to set the stream as private, or public which will display other SHOUTcast Widgets clients.
- In order to be listed in the On Demand Player, you must have changed your stream title under server settings > edit and also your network title under General Settings
- Tracks in your auto dj folder must be an exact duplicate of your on demand folder.
- You must be able to pull your mp3s up in a browser with an un encrypted url. For example, take the track Janet Jackson - Control. The Url would have to have the exact same file name at the end with the extension .mp3 at the end. The example tracks Url would look something like www.mediastorage.com/Janet Jackson - Control.mp3
- The Backtrack player allows for unlimited networked and public streams. To enable public status, be listed in other streams players and agree to list other public streams on your player, click on Settings > General Settings and make the change near the bottom under Community Status. For you personal network, you can add as many streams as you like, click on Server Settings and look near the bottom to add a new stream.
