Each stream's Listings page helps new listeners find your station. It submits to Radio Browser and Classic Radio Network for you, and gives you a checklist and copy-ready details for the sites that only accept stations by hand.
Open it with the Listings button on the stream card. Directories only list stations that are on air, so keep the stream running.
1. Your station details and logo
Directories all ask for the same things. Name, genre, description and website come from the stream's Station info. Add the rest once in Your station details:
- Country as 2 letters (for example
US,GB), and optionally Region (for exampleTX) and City. - Languages as 3-letter codes, for example
eng,spa. - Tags, for example
dance, 90s, hits.
Click Save details.
Upload station logo: a square PNG, JPG or WebP, 600 px or more, up to 5 MB. It's hosted for you and used everywhere: directory submissions, the Luna Player, the widgets and your Roku channel.
Open Copy-ready details to see all your details, each with a Copy button, for pasting into other sites' forms.
2. Radio Browser (recommended)
Radio Browser is a free, open directory used by VLC, Kodi, RadioDroid and many smart speakers, car radios and radio apps.
- Check the Station name and pick the Stream address. Your own Icecast server over https is a good choice.
- Check Country, Languages, Tags, Website and Logo address.
- Click Submit to Radio Browser.
The card then shows whether the listing is online, its votes and clicks, and a link to your entry.
- Radio Browser checks every stream once a day, so a new listing can take a few hours to show as online.
- Radio Browser doesn't allow changes. Submit new details adds a new entry; old entries are removed by Radio Browser once their stream stops working.
- If your stream address is already listed, the panel links to that entry instead of adding a copy.
3. Classic Radio Network (recommended)
Classic Radio Network is a free directory with its own Android app. Stations whose current song can be read are listed as Premium with now playing; your CastBridge servers already provide it.
- Check the name and stream address, and enter a Contact email (never published).
- Add genre, country, languages, website, logo and a description of up to 500 characters.
- Leave Now playing on Read it from the stream (Premium).
- Click Submit to Classic Radio Network.
New stations are reviewed before they appear. The card shows the status: waiting for review, approved, or rejected with the reason. Afterwards the button becomes Update listing, which updates the name, genre, description, logo, website, email, country and language. Choosing a different stream address submits a new station.
4. Icecast and SHOUTcast directories
The page shows the status of both. Turn them on in the stream's settings; see Listing Your Station in the Icecast and SHOUTcast Directories.
5. Manual submissions
These sites only accept stations through their own form. Each has an Open form button:
- Radio Garden: live radio on a 3D globe.
- iHeartRadio: apply to be carried in the iHeartRadio app.
- Streema: the directory behind the Simple Radio apps.
- Online Radio Box
- RadioFM
- Internet-Radio.com
- TuneIn: free for stations outside the US; US stations apply through TuneIn's paid broadcaster programme.
- myTuner Radio
Paste your details from Copy-ready details, then tick Submitted next to the site to keep track. Most sites review new stations by hand, which can take days or weeks.
