Shoutcast Widgets + Shoutcast v2 = WORKS
Shoutcast Widgets + Icecast = DOES NOT WORK
By default however, Azuracast uses internal names for the the Shoutcast DNAS. Shoutcast Widgets uses standard ports to connect so you'll need to first find your port number.
(1) Choose Edit Station Profile
(2) Click on the Broadcasting Tab and look for the port number under Broadcasting Port
(3) The server hostname will be located on the main station page under streams. You'll want to grab only the hostname from this URL (see example)
The Azuracast demo DNAS Url looks like..
https://demo.azuracast.com/listen/azuratest_radio/mobile.mp3
and the new and valid Shoutcast Widgets Url looks like..
https://demo.azuracast.com:8000
-- march 2023 note There is currently a minor bug in the latest Shoutcast DNAS. To access the admin section of the DNAS, you must use a non secure url.
There is a ADMIN setting in Azuracast that forces SSL which must be changed. Only the Azuracast Admin can change this and it's located under System Settings > Security & Privacy
This setting, if enabled also causes Shoutcast Widgets errors when pulling listener data and other information.
Again this is only a issue with Shoutcast DNAS 2.6.1 and may be corrected in future releases.
ADMIN MUST ENSURE THIS SETTINGS IS UNCHECKED
