SmartMix is a plugin used with Centova integration. SmartMix scans the data file which holds the last 1,000 tracks including the listener count which is set at the end of each song. Using this data, SmartMix will first determine the average listener amount for all tracks and filter out any tracks that fall below this average. SmartMix will also look at the last played tracks and remove any files and/or artists that have played in the last X amount of tracks, make sure the currently playing track isn't in the mix, and also look at track polls if enabled which allows listeners to like/dislike each track.
After SmartMix has processed the top tracks, they are automatically sent to Centova cast for instant play. As long as the playlist was set up correctly, once all files have finished play, the playlist is automatically set to disabled and the stream returns to normal programing.
